Mårtens journey started out like many others by modifying his own streetcar to make it handle better, go faster and of course look cool while doing it! But quite quickly he caught a passion for Drifting and decided to pursue his long lived dream of competing in Motorsport. His very first encounter with competition drifting was back in 2012 when he entered his first round of the Swedish Drifting Championship, since that day he has been hooked and his passion for the sport has only grown stronger.

The Competition debut was made in his first drift car which was a Mercedes 190.

It got some serious attention world wide from a lot of different online media and car magazines, the picture on the right here is from that feature on Speedhunters.com which is the worlds biggest car blog!

The 190 was used in competition until December 2014 where it was deemed illegal due to new regulations in the Swedish Drifting championship. This meant that the team had to either rebuild the entire car or start over on a new 190 chassis. None of these alternatives felt good because we had experienced problems with keeping our drivetrain from breaking down, it just couldn't handle the torque our engine produced.

So the decision was made to build their next Drift car on a new chassis, but which kind of chassis was the big question.
